MacGruber

MacGruber is a 2010 American action comedy film based on the Saturday Night Live sketch of the same name, itself a parody of action-adventure television series MacGyver. The film stars Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe, Val Kilmer, Maya Rudolph, and Powers Boothe, with Jorma Taccone directing. Originally scheduled for release on April 23, 2010, it was instead released on May 21, 2010. The film was written by Will Forte, John Solomon, and Jorma Taccone, produced by Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn, with music by Matthew Compton. Major contributors include cinematographer Brandon Trost and editor Jamie Gross.
